COURSE DESCRIPTION. This semester course is designed for students who wish to study theatre from a production and design point of view. Through projects, communication, reading, and hands on experience, the student will explore topics such as, stage carpentry, set design, lighting production and design, sound, properties, costuming, stage management, special effects, theatre history, dramatic criticism, and theatre aesthetics.
