Prentiss Lea joined District 128 as associate superintendent in July 2005 and became superintendent in July 2008. He brings a broad base and a variety of administrative and educational experiences, as well as his passion for the success of all students to his new position. Prentiss served as a principal for 12 years at Glenbard North, Rich East and Crete-Monee High Schools. In addition, he served as an assistant principal, dean, director of student activities, department chair, business education teacher, head wrestling and assistant football coach and student council advisor. As a principal, Prentiss worked collaboratively with faculty, parents, communities and students to develop data driven school improvement plans, which led to increased student achievement. In addition, Prentiss has worked as consultant and lecturer in leadership, school improvement planning and school climate. As associate superintendent, his responsibilities included all facets of strategic planning, personnel, curriculum, instruction, and school improvement. Prentiss holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from Manchester College, North Manchester, Ind., a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Governors State University, University Park, Ill., and is completing his PhD in Educational Leadership.

Dr. Al Fleming

Dr. Al Fleming joined District 128 as Associate Superintendent in July of 2009.  He brings 28 years of educational experience to the position, having served as a principal, assistant principal, department chair, and science teacher.  Prior to becoming a high school science teacher, Al spent 12 years as a professor and coordinator of the science education masters degree program at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais.  Following that, he worked at Champaign Community Unit District 4, Deerfield High School, and Grayslake North High School. 
Al holds a BA in physical science from Olivet Nazarene University, an MA in geology from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, a Ph.D. in geology from Northern Illinois University, and an MA in educational leadership from Eastern Illinois University.

 
Yasmine Dada, CPA
Assistant Superintendent for Business

Yasmine has been the District 128 business manager since July, 1997. She has more than 15 years of experience as a school district business manager. In addition to being a certified public accountant, Yasmine holds a BA from the University of Illinois, an MA from Eastern Illinois University, and received her CSBO through Northern Illinois University.

Deborah Larson 
Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction

Deb Larson is the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction for District 128. Deb earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan with a major in mathematics and a minor in psychology. She was granted a sabbatical in 1991 from District 128 to complete a Master's Degree in Educational Administration at Loyola University of Chicago. Since 1982, she has held a variety of roles such as mathematics teacher, division head, department supervisor at Libertyville High School, district personnel director and assistant principal at Vernon Hills High School.Deb’s primary responsibilities are to coordinate programs and services related to curriculum and instruction, staff development and testing.

Mary E. Todoric

Mary oversees all facets of communications in District 128. Her responsibilities include media relations, community relations, special events, staff recognition, District web page content, and production of District publications including the District's parent news magazine, Paw Prints, the District's community newsletter, The 128 Report, and the District 128 Annual Report. Mary joined District 128 in 1999 after six years of serving as director of community relations for Fenton Community High School District 100. Prior to that, she held positions in a variety of corporate and not-for-profit public relations departments. She is a member of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), serves on the board of the Illinois chapter of NSPRA (INSPRA), and is a board member for the Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein and Vernon Hills (GLMV) Chamber of Commerce.Mary holds a B.A. from Eastern Illinois University and an M.A. and administrative certificate from DePaul University.

Mick Torres
Educational Technology Director

As Educational Technology Director, Mick oversees the planning, acquisition, deployment and support of all educational technology at both schools and works closely with instructional leaders and administrators on the integration of technology into the curriculum and day-to-day administrative operations. Mick has 23 years of experience in education, the last 17 as an administrator. He began his teaching career in 1985 at Lake Zurich High School teaching Honors Physics as well as coaching wrestling and football. He became an Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at LZ and served in that capacity from 1991 - 1994. Prior to working for District 128, Mick was Assistant Principal and Tech Director at Antioch Community High School from 1994 - 2003.
